Insa Space-Age Mechanical Square Desk Clock – c. 1970–1979

Produced by Insa in Yugoslavia during the height of the 1970s consumer boom, this vintage mechanical desk alarm clock is an authentic piece of Eastern Bloc industrial design and space-age pop aesthetics. It pairs a clean, square cream-white plastic outer casing with an intensely vibrant circular red face and a solid matching pedestal baseline foot.

This specific iteration is a collectible certified piece of horological history, proudly bearing the crisp printed „Insa / Yugoslavia” workshop markings directly on its central dial matrix. Blending utilitarian charm with mid-century geometric minimalism, this wind-up timekeeper runs on a reliable mechanical gear system, making it a bold statement piece and a cornerstone addition for collectors of classic mid-century European clocks.
